Intake and New Client Procedure
1
Phone Consultation
Call (310) 544-0166 for a 20–30 minute phone consultation. This brief conversation clarifies your concerns, therapy goals, availability, and whether in-person or telehealth sessions are most appropriate.
2
Intake Paperwork
New clients receive intake forms to complete prior to the first session, including consent, confidentiality, and a clinical history questionnaire.
3
First Appointment
The initial intake session includes a thorough assessment, goal-setting, and development of a personalized treatment plan.
4
Scheduling follow-ups
Sessions are typically scheduled weekly or biweekly based on your needs and goals.
Telehealth Details and Confidentiality
Telehealth sessions use secure, HIPAA-compliant platforms to ensure confidentiality. Before your first session, you will receive instructions to test your connection and maintain privacy. If you are in California but temporarily outside the state, please discuss availability and legal considerations during the phone consultation.

Confidential Voicemail and Email Communication
Therapy is a collaborative process. As your therapist, I commit to providing a safe, respectful, and skilled environment. As a client, your active participation—attending sessions, completing agreed-upon practices, and communicating concerns about therapy progress—supports better outcomes.
Referrals and Community Resources
If your needs require specialized services beyond the scope of my practice, I provide referrals to trusted local providers, psychiatrists, support groups, and community resources.
